Another former Bullet Baseball player has recently committed to play baseball on a collegiate level. Currently a senior at Sulphur High, Brady Landry has verbally committed to LSU-E.
LSU-E is the reigning NJCAA World Series champion and has won the title two of the last three years. Two-time National Coach of the Year, Jeff Willis, is in his seventh year at LSU-E. Landry will help Willis build on his current .777 win percentage over his 6 years.
"Brady is very proud of his time with the Bullet organization" , says Mrs. Landry.
He is not the only one.
"He is a class act." say James Landreneau. "It's a privilege to coach such a fine young man. He is an extremely talented individual. Bullet just provided the direction and the rest was him. He has many accomplishments and we expect many more to come."
Becoming the first freshman to start on Varsity at Sulphur High is high among those accomplishments. The fact that Sulphur was second in the State Championship that year makes it no small feat.
Brady has gone on to collect many awards during his Three years at Sulphur including being awarded All-District, All-State runner-up and All Southwest Baseball Player during his junior year.
Congratulations, Brady Landry! We will be watching.
