Baseball Factory would like to announce that Brady Landry, of Sulphur, was recently selected to participate in the Under Armour Pre-Season All-America Tournament. Hosted by Baseball Factory since 1999, the tournament showcases the nation’s best talent in a three-day event.
The 2009 Under Armour Pre-Season All-America Tournament will feature the top high school players from across the country in a 20-team wood bat tournament. Players showcase and compete against each other, making it the only “non paper” All-American honor. Pre-Season All-Americans are scouted and selected by Baseball Factory scouts and Team One Baseball scouts, along with some scouts from Major League organizations. Past Pre-Season All-Americans have included David Wright of the New York Mets and BJ Upton of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.
The event will take place January 16 – 18, 2009 in Tucson, Arizona at the Kino Sports Complex - Spring Training home of the Arizona Diamondbacks and Chicago White Sox.
Brady is in his senior year at Sulphur High School where he plays third base for the Golden Tornadoes. He will be attending Louisiana State University – Eunice next fall. Baseball Factory wishes Brady the best of luck at the Under Armour Pre-Season All-America Tournament and in all his future endeavors.
